As the only child of a single parent who did not attend college, we struggled through the college admission process. My college choice has proven to be the keystone for the path I have taken in life, both at the personal and at the professional level. Consequently, I strive to encourage students to enjoy the college selection experience, even under pressure to make what may well be the biggest decision of their lives so far.
I possess true zeal for guiding students and their families through the experience of profound self-exploration, requisite growth, and development of effective decision making that is inherent in a successful college search process. My extensive education, knowledge, professional relationships, and experience (as an admission representative, as an independent college consultant, and as a high school counselor) make me highly qualified to work with your family during this pivotal time in life.
As a firm believer in life-long learning, I endeavor to consistently educate myself about the ever-changing world of collegiate admission, as well as technology in the classroom. In order to do so, I subscribe to the Code of Ethics and Professional Practices (CEPP) and hold memberships and leadership positions within several professional education associations.
I am also deeply rooted in the tradition of community service, as I have been given much in life and hope to repay those gifts with my own time and talent for the benefit of others.
Bachelor of Science (BS) in Psychology, Regis University 1997
Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice, Regis University 1997
